- Operate wire-coiling machines to wind wire coils used in motors, and in electrical equipment.
- Select and load materials such as workpieces, objects, and machine parts into equipment used in winding processes.
- Measure and cut slot insulation
- Perform miscellaneous operations such as dismantle and clean parts.
- Insertion of coils and connect as per as found data
- Reviews scope of work prior to the implementation of project
- Conducts on-site coordination with end-user and supervisor
- Submits progress reports of on-site service to the main office
- Conducts site inspection to determine the scope of work and service that will be provided to the client
- Prepares and checks tools and equipment to be used for servicing
- Submits test reports on machineries forwarded by the technician
- Analyses and/or Validates reports on machineries
- Defines prospective clients and maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Attends site inspection, if applicable
- Conducts set up and operation of test equipment for evaluation of performance, assembly, or system, under simulated operating conditions
- Records results of the conducted equipment testing
- Provides technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during and/or after construction
- Repairs and replaces defective components in motors, generators, controllers, storage batteries, switchboards, conductors, switches and various electrical fixtures
- Dismantles motors and generators
- In-charge of all the service engineers, foreman and leadman.
- Receive job order (J.O.) from Service Manager for works that are related to outside service products.
- Communicate with the customer representative in charge of the service activity to obtain all necessary information that will be needed in the planning activities and also as an initial communication.
- Confer with the production planner for the availability of manpower, tools, equipment, test instruments and transportation services
