Skills and Specifications Requirements:
- Demonstrates a detailed understanding of electrical management and cost estimating principles.

- Must have experience working with medium voltage (4.16kV – 15kV) electrical systems.

- Conducts visual evaluation of motors and generators
- Dismantles and/or assembles motors and generators
- Evaluates worn out and missing parts of dismantled units for reporting to Production Supervisor
- Conducts modifications to equipment if necessary to facilitate improvement and/or changes to the operation as directed by the supervisor
- Prepares mechanical checklist for submission to the production supervisor
- Reconditions motors and generators
- Supervises mechanical crew
- Conducts fabrication of special tools used in projects
- Checks units prior to delivery
- Conducts tagging of all disassembled parts for easier identification
- Handles location and preservation of disassembled parts of motors and generators

FOR MARIKINA & DAVAO ASSIGNMENT (BUT WILLING TO BE TRAINED IN MANILA)
- Data gathering like number of turns, measurements of winding and core
- Rewind small and medium-sized distribution motor and generators
- Operate of wire-coiling machines to wind wire coils used in motor, and in electrical equipment.
- Select and load materials such as work pieces, objects, and machine parts into equipment used in winding processes.
- Measure and cut slot insulation
- Perform miscellaneous operations such as dismantle and clean parts.
- Insertion of coils and connect as per as found data
- Fabricate and insert new slot wages
- Apply insulating varnish to winding
- Assist technician during initial and final electrical test
- Assist technicians in no load test
- Record winding data to log book for reference
- Paint the unit base on original color or as per customer.
- Help others with more complicated jobs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Conducts testing of transformers and/or motors in-house and on-site areas
- Repairs and troubleshoots transformers
- Operates the degasifier for functional activities
- Conducts testing of circuit breakers and load break switches for production activities
- Checks the newly rewind and reconditioned transformers before delivery to customer
- Checks conditions of equipment such as degasifier and testing instruments regularly
- Coordinates with service manager for projects on servicing for early preparation
- Trains and teaches helpers in the conduct of testing transformers and operation of testing instruments

Electrical Technician conduct electrical evaluation, repair, testing, maintain electric motor and control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
Essential Functions:
- Implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities and components
- Familiar with motor and motor control type, parts and components
- Observed and follow proper methodology
- Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform tasks.
- Installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Respond and provide technical assistance to electrical equipment problems
- Direct and oversee subcontractor repairs on motor and motor control to ensure quality

- Assembling and Disassembling of all incoming for repair and reconditioning units of induction Motors, Generators, and Transformers for evaluation
- Follow instructions assigned by the immediate supervisor
- Responsible for tagging and marking of spare parts for proper identification and easily location of disassembled parts found inside the machinery
- Assist mechanical and electrical technicians for the initial evaluation and final testing of all incoming units for repairs
- Facilitate the moving of equipment during processing
- Responsible for cleaning and lubricating equipment
- Responsible for air blowing and chemical washing of units for reconditioning
- Responsible for cleaning the production workshop
